See list belowNOV 08 196767-FM-T-102FM/Deputy ChiefSpacecraft computer program P5—on the way out
During a meeting of MSC people at MIT on November 2, it was brought up by MIT that some problems were being encountered in the development of P05, the program which assists the astronaut in turning on the primary guidance system. Although these problems are relatively minor, it was the opinion of MIT that this program contributes little, if anything, to the operation of the spacecraft and it was their suggestion that we delete it from COLOSSUS, LUMINARY and SUNDANCE. The concensus of MSC people present was that this was a good idea and it is probable that the Flight Support Division will so direct MIT unless someone comes along to protect it. I am writing this note primarily to give you that opportunity—if you like P05.
