Digging Apollo is a personal project to transcribe into plaintext the authentic original “behind the scenes” documents of the Apollo program, starting with the collection of memorandums authored by Howard. W. Tindall, Jr., collectively known as “Tindallgrams”, though hopefully branching out into other resources as time goes on.
The ultimate goal is create a cross-referenced, searchable database of authentic historical documents as both a curiosity for the casual reader, and a tool for historical researchers.
This project is being pieced together in my spare time, outside of my regular 9-5 job. As a solo effort, I find myself trying to divide my time between transcribing documents, adding functionality to the website, and also have some interest in writing commentary articles which will take a more “layman’s terms” approach to the content of these documents, so please be patient as progress is slowly made! I will aim to upload at least one new document per day.
Feel free to leave comments about your observations on these documents, as I am always interested in other peoples interpretations on this subject, and if you wish to get in touch, please email me here.
Thank you for visiting.
