In response to your memo dated January 13, same subject as above, we requested the Guidance and Control Division to carry out a study into the possibility of adding a CMC routine to complete RCS propellant consumed. The results of this study are detailed in the attached memo. As you can see, they have concluded that not only would such a computa- tion be quite inaccurate but, “…the amount of data which would have to be handled is felt to be prohibitive”. It is their recommendation that such a program not be considered for use in the CMC. On the other hand, if you still feel there is merit in this proposal, I suggest your people contant Guidance and Control Division personnel directly.
